I opened my.yahoo today and the headline photo was of a protestor who got shot by police in Genoa while protesting the G8 summit. Admittedly, all the protestors were being violent (i.e., throwing stones and such, even fire extinguishers!) but to be shot in the forehead and cheek by live rounds … what I’m more appalled by is the photo they show. We see it in movies all the time but this is REAL. We’re all worried about people swearing on TV and media or someone showing a little skin but we can show a person’s head blown off. Makes perfect sense.
