Most people forget to be tourists in their home towns. It took me two years before I got around to seeing the bats in Austin (for those that don’t know, there’s a bat colony that lives under a downtown bridge and they come out at dusk – there’s a LOT of them). I can name a number of touristy things I have yet to do even in Vancouver. If you think your city’s getting boring, try doing the things your friends do when they visit =)
