Back in London for a
Back in London for a week (well half a week now since I arrived Friday). I went to Tahoe last weekend with my friend Mike in SF and his pHD buddies, all of whome were very cool. I’ll post some pictures in a couple of weeks (when I update the blog design, which follows my completing the neverending portfolio quest).
Random things of note:
- new Harry Potter book will be released in July and it’s a pretty massive read. I’ll probably end up picking it up with swarms of screaming kids. Actually, I won’t. Thank you, Amazon.
- Apple’s new 12″ and 17″ powerbooks are both very attractive … if I was to buy my own laptop, I’d struggle between ultra cool portable or ultra nice screen. Given the work I do, I should probably choose the latter but I do like portability. Then again, maybe I’ll just save myself some dough.
- Related note, Apple released iPod for Windows and in conjunction with Burton, released a drool inducing, if a bit expensive, snowboarding jacket with in sleeve controls. Good thing my ski suit just got ripped
