All Hail the Horizontal Scroll, it is Dead

Observant and regular visitors will note a few subtle changes in the blog design.

  • A basic version of the photos section is up. It uses Sony’s Imagestation which I highly recommend because they have unlimited space and high rez viewable pics.
  • Got rid of the calendar.
  • Added a Recent Comments section so you can comment on really old blogs and have the comfort of knowing it will still be read and discussed by many intellectuals.
  • Fixed that stupid 100% width, horizontal scrolling thing in the default style sheet (I can hear the cheers and celebration now).

Aye - I noticed the recent comments feature. Was trying to figure out how to iteratively integrate that type of functionality.

It seems that you’d want some type of micro-content beyond the date and name of the person posting, but what that would be I’m not sure. I wonder if there’s an aesthetic way to include 20 words about the comment. Well - very cool!

    Yah!

Just one thing: I have to register to view your photo gallery? WTF? Boo, Kevin. Boo. :-(

Get yourself a copy of Liveframe or Gallery and go nuts.
