Blog Database Corruption

If you’re wondering where I’ve been in the past week, my comments table in the blog database got corrupted so I had to re-install with an old backup and ended up losing a month of comments. Coincidentally (or perhaps not so coincidentally), June was one of the heaviest comment months I’d ever had.

I am also considering moving to B2 or one of its branches (B2++, WordPress, B2evolution) but there’s no way to migrate the data from MT yet. Kat’s blog was moved to B2 because her blog is new and I could manually move her entries over.

What’s so good about B2?? seems like just another implementation using php..
