Merry New Christmas. Happy Year.
First off, I am way overdue in linking Kathryn’s report on our venice trip. Go read it and let her know what you think! She likes feedback 
You can also look forward to a new travel entry from her shortly as we spent our Christmas in the French Alps. I will write a brief outline when I post pictures but it was a lot of fun if different.
This Christmas has been quite unique for both of us. It’s not the first time I haven’t spent a season with my parents but it’s the first time in quite a few years and when I didn’t, I was usually in Vancouver where a lot of my friends are. Being the starving student, flying to Vancouver or Hong Kong wasn’t really an option for either of us so we did a budget holiday (17hr coach ride) instead.
Sorry everyone’s Christmas cards are so late btw.
Other quick news … term has ended for me. I seem to be doing fairly well with my papers but so far, none of them count towards my final grade … which sucks because I’m sure I won’t do as well when it actually matters. It always ends up that way. Kathryn has started working at a new firm and is enjoying it there so I’m at home on my holiday break, doing laundry, house chores, drawing and bumming around playing NHL 2004 while she works =P
Hope everyone is having a good new year’s. I’ll try to get more in the holiday mood next year when I have an income!
