Did they get a good photo of the man drenched in bird poop?

Now, I agree and I disagree with your thoughts here. Firstly, while it is easy to share pictures, people don't tend to do it. Especially if they're about to take lots of photos. Not everyone will take a photo of the same thing either. So, can you imagine having to exchange photos with 11 other people? Secondly, I wouldn't trust the photographic abilities of other people. My last trip to China was much like that. And com'on, we've all see photos produced by Asians. Heads chopped off. Too much sky. Too much ground. Poor framing. I'd rather take my own pictures and then collect others as backup, or in hopes of scoring another good picture out of their pile.

I take a lot of pictures and I really feel weird sometimes. Mostly, I ask people if they mind. It can be awkward, but usually people are really nice about it, however, if my friend Jeanna is there, she has an urge to let the person know,

"She has a blog"!

Jeez.

Kevin, the problem with your observation was that in this case, it was the SAME PEOPLE taking the pictures. They would simply hand off another camera. It was absurd... (And yes I know this was 5 months late).
