Interesting: J.K. Rowling was a welfare mom turned billionaire, new to the list. The google guys made the list this year and so did Guy Laliberte, the founder of Cirque du Soleil. Good for him. I love the shows. It’s too bad he’s an arrogant prick from what I’ve seen.
That’s disgusting. I guess we hear these names over and over, and you think to yourself that all these people are worth over $1B US… but then again, with 4.5 billion inhabitants in this world, only 50 or so are worth that much. I’ll be happy worth only $10 million…. that is, until I’m worth $10M, then I’ll want more.

I wonder what colour chips Bill Gates gambles with in Vegas. Considering that they use chips to gamble so your losses don’t seem as big, it’d still be like betting a penny to Billy, unlike for us “thousandaires”.
