Vindication
Playoff season means much more NHL realted blogging.
The Canucks have clinched their first division title since 1993. I think it was still called the Smythe division back then. It feels good to get back at Colorado. I would have loved to see them play Dallas without home advantage.
I’m not sure what’s worse though: playing Dallas or Calgary in the first round. Dallas is a team we never do well against but the Flames are a really gritty bunch who will take us for a ride whether we win or not. Both teams have game stealing goalies – something we’ve always lacked (bring Auld in!). I suppose given our track record, Calgary would be the safer bet. Of course, that also pits the two west Canadian teams against each other.
