Based on the anime/mange, this Hong Kong flick features actors who speak worse Cantonese than I do and/or worse acting than Haiden Christiansen in Attack of the Clones but has fast cars doing street racing and a couple of highlights from Anthony Wong play Bunta (the dad) with even more character than the anime and Chapman To as a less annoying yet still entertaining Itsuki. The only thing it was lacking was the EuroDance soundtracks that make the anime races so awesome. [imdb link]
