Spider-man 3
Wow, how can the same director do two movies that are so different in the same series? Spider-man 2 was a great sequel in the franchise and showed that a superhero franchise didn’t have to get progressively worse. Spider-man 3 could easily have been two or more separate movies but they did what Batman did - put more villains than there was room for and left no room for character development outside of the cheesiest of cliches. I thought Star Wars Episode 2 was like Dawson’s Creek in Space. There are parts of this that remind me of the same. [imdb link]
