Originally I was gonna write the title as “f-this!”. I wanted to quickly pick a new theme just to change things up without spending the time to do the design myself but all of these themes lack in one form or another and the time I spend tweaking them may as well be spent on my own theme. So I think it’s finally time for me to make my own WP design again. Let’s see how long it takes me. In the meantime, sorry about the mess.
I’ve dealt with WP’s ‘templating woes’ before.
You oughta give Textpattern a whirl if you’d like simple, logical, abstracted templating. Come over to the dark side. 
Unless you want COMPLETE control. In which case Symphony is your best suspect.
