Colma: The Musical

Colma is he town in the Bay Area that has a population of buried people 10x of the living residents. Their tagline is, “it’s good to be alive in Colma.” So I thought, a movie that’s a musical and set in Colma can’t really go wrong. Sadly, the movie is pretty cookie cutter coming-of-age-growing-up-in-a-small-town film and while it has its moments, isn’t really anything special. [imdb link]

I think it’s because also us Canadians - we get over our drinking issues really early. The legal age for drinking in Canada is 19, in the States it’s 21.

I also thought the same of it - it’s impressive for what it is, but it’s certainly no Cavite.
