Yet Another Interim Theme

My friend, the talented designer and entrepreneur, Derek Powazek came up with this very simple theme which fits the bill perfectly for me for a “stand-in” design while I’m slammed with product releases.

Speaking of product releases, I designed and helped release BravoNation a couple of weeks ago. We launched just before Christmas so it was without much fanfare and the product is also invite only. Luckily, I have invites to give. I’d like to talk in depth about the product, why I think it’s very cool and how I went about the design process but that’s for another day.

In fact, here are some of the posts that are on my plate and I just haven’t gotten around to finishing. If you’re still here reading, maybe you can leave a vote in the comments on which article I should write first:

What do you think?

Would be very interesting to hear your thoughts on incentive systems. Would that involve some game design thinking? Also, anything related involving Play-Doh sounds great.

My vote is for this order:
* Why I Did Buy an iPhone Afterall
* Improv is Like Design
* Going from Play-Doh to Website (2 parts)
* Incentive Systems On and Offline

George: You realize the conversation we had at CampCamp was a pivotal point in the iPhone change of heart right? =)

Kars: Yes, I’ve been thinking about and applying as much as possible game design principles into social media website design and have a lot I want to write about in that regard.

Simplicity is beauty.

Mark me up for (1) Incentive Systems On and Offline, (2) Improve is Like Design, (3) Going from Play-Doh to Website, and (4) Why I Did Buy an iPhone Afterall…

Kudos and congrats on BravoNation. In the event that you have not yet spent your invite allocation, I would love one!

Hm.. I’m biased, but I’d love to see the Incentive Systems one. :-) (iPhone… meh. Everyone’s covered that already.)
