Easter weekend was spent in Barcelona. The weather was not as sunny and warm as we’d expected and the shops weren’t as … open … as we expected but it was still a great time. Album >>
I’m such a procrasinator and a meme whore. 1. Grab the nearest book. 2. Open the book to page 23. 3. Find the fifth sentence. 4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions. From The Tipping Point Our immune system keeps it in check easily. (via Peter Merholz)
True to procrasination form, I’ve just completed my taxes. For the first time in three years, I don’t owe money and I’m actually getting a refund. I’ve forgotten how it feels to get my own money back. Three years later, TurboTax for the Web is still the most polished web app I’ve used.
So B. already got RSS for Blogger working but nobody has followed suit. Today, I spent about 5 mins and got it working on a friend’s blogger site I built for him eons ago and it worked like a charm. Seriously, if you’re a blogspot user, do us a favour and just follow the instructions [...]
I became an RSS addict a year or two ago and have been trying to push people to get their blogs RSS enabled. For those that don’t know, RSS basically lets you subscribe to websites so instead of having to check them periodically, they let you know when they’ve updated. Think of it like sending [...]
If you went and did a Google Search for “ok”, you might expect something about OKlahoma or perhaps the band OKGo but you probably wouldn’t expect to find an HCI comic as the first search result.

A lot of employees at Microsoft have blogs on the MSDN network now and one of the most interesting and useful new ones is by two recruiters there. They talk about interviewing, resume preparation, what to wear, etc. Good read and [...]
KC: “Hon, I’m uhm … gonna be staying up late on Wednesday night.” KN: “How come?” KC: “… the Canucks first round playoff game” KN: (shakes head) “Well at least get some work done while you’re listening” I have the best girlfriend =)
Kat is looking for a Calvin Klein watch that we saw not long ago and found something surprising: cK doesn’t seem to have their own website. Neither ck.com nor calvinklein.com resolve to anything. Anyone have any ideas on where to find their latest in some sort of on-line catalogue? Who’s google-fu is strongest?
Playoff season means much more NHL realted blogging. The Canucks have clinched their first division title since 1993. I think it was still called the Smythe division back then. It feels good to get back at Colorado. I would have loved to see them play Dallas without home advantage. I’m not sure what’s worse though: [...]
